I won't pass up a movie whose plot and characters seem interesting, but if it's a movie I think I can do without watching, then the "is there eye candy?" question will pop out and I will either watch it or not depending on the answer.

I kinda agree. I can usually be persuaded to watch a movie that I feel 'eh' about, hot guy or no, but eye candy certainly doesn't hurt, and on occasion it'll be what convinces me to give the movie a shot.
