Frankly, the idea of being 'as one' or whatever with on person 'for all eternity' squicks me no end. If there *is* an afterlife, as far as i'm concerned (and i really doubt it), it's for rejuvenating your soul and finding another life to live, meeting all new people.

Perhaps it could be read that way, but i was merely stating my opinion. I don't care what other people believe about the afterlife, whatever makes them happy.

And what i actually said was 'No, thank you', which in my mind is a polite refusal, not an attack or anything.
