Uh, let's see:

Teen Wolf is a confusing mess of a fandom, but a lot of people hate Scott, and he's pretty much my favourite.

Gwen from Torchwood is pretty universally hated, though, of course, there are fans of her too.

A common reaction from new Les Misérables fans is to hate Cosette and/or Marius, even if most hardcore fans don't. I think they're great.

+1 (+2?) to Cosette and Marius. I thought even hardcore fans, if not hating them, at most ignore them except to occasionally lament how dumb and boring they are.

Ah, well, I guess depends where you're looking. In a movie-inspired fit of fandom enthusiasm, I followed some Les Mis fans on Tumblr, and they all like Marius and Cosette. There's even a Don't Hate Cosette tumblr somewhere...

But it is terribly common. I avoid their tags because there's a slew of people saying MARIUS IS SUCH A DICK/COSETTE IS SUCH A BITCH, and from the fanfics I read a few years back, both Marius and Cosette bashing prevailed.
