Well, I've just locked myself out of my sock account, because I use it so infrequently that I've forgotten the ballsing password again.

I was always wary of being a 'personality' on F!S, because there's always a certain percentage of the non-anons here who just really seem to enjoy admiring themselves a lot more than talking about the secrets. The egos, they grate.

IDK, I think that also applies to a certain percentage of the anons.

Fair point. Actually, it's probably just that there's a percentage of people who like to talk about themselves beyond my tolerance point. It's just that with anons you don't know if it's the same people.

But as a result I formed an early association on F!S between familiar faces and irritation. Shame on me or something.

That's totally understandable.

I think most of the non-anons here are pretty cool people, but I'm not going to lie, there are a few who get on my nerves. Although that was kind of inevitable considering the wide variety of people who frequent this place.

kind of like the straw on a camels back. not to say it won't happen with anons, but it's easier to get irritated with an icon/username for being a dumbass every day for a week until you want to shake them into sensibility.

You know, I've been thinking that too. Some account users try really hard to prop themselves up as this persona in the comm and I've really lost my patience for that sort of internet theatrics.

I used to like her but she's really rubbing me the wrong way these past few weeks and my tolerance is fading.

Now I am wondering which users you are thinking of... Mostly because I am curious, but also because it is interesting to know what people think of the users with accounts.

Chard and Noodly are the main ones really.

The only others who spring to mind as persistent offenders who people react to are Childing, Omened, Visp, Fingle, and Reik.

This is going back to before dreamweaver. Maybe a year or so since she was a regular contributer? She was Visp or Omenened before their was a Visp or Omened.

Complete lack of empathy with the same posting style and had a weird thing against people crying or weakness. The biggest controversy involving her I remember was about pro bullying comments she made.

People always get on me when I call ill_omened a sociopath. But that's the sort of shit that makes me think s/he is, dammit.

The others I could take or leave, but so far, I like Omened.

//anon does not get the aggravation with them, tbqh. I haven't been here long, but they remind me of a couple of my friends. So, obvious sock or not, they ... look less like a persona and more like a person to me. Maybe I'm being naive?

Ya know, I won't say, because as much as they annoy me I don't really wanna hark on these people.

But there's been some who left, like homette, chaz (shaz?? something with-az) and the borderline trolls like the person with the weird-eyed kitten icon and the super offensive one WHO I CAN'T REMEMBER THE NAME of for the life of me. That's how ridiculous the whole thing is to me-- in the end most won't even remember their usernames.

CHIXB4DIX! Oh man, the wank they caused!

They actually admitted to being a troll, btw. When technophile finally banned them, they made an anon post to that effect.
