I go anon because I'd like to be able to make personal comments without it being connected to my account, or to each other. It's a little comforting to know that my comment can only be evaluated on its face. There are a number of regulars here that I have a bias against and I know I see their comments with that bias in mind, and I'd rather that not happen to me. And it helps me not be so anxious about people judging me for what I've said, because it's anon and I can just let it go.

And I like not having to deal with replies to what I've said if I don't want to xD

you mean you don't read replies or that you don't feel obligated to acknowledge them?

Little bit of both, depending on what's going on, but also not getting email notifs - I can just pretend there are no replies! Sometimes I toss in my two cents to a heated topic and never go back because holy shit some people. Other times I do read the replies but don't respond because it's obvious that they're not getting what I'm saying and I don't find beating my head against a wall to be a very productive use of my time. (not that f!s in general is a productive use of my time, but at least it's fun sometimes.)
