Can you rec me some good OC fanfic? any fandom. OC fic is actually my favourite kind of fic as well as Outsider!P.O.V because it gives a different view on the characters and (hopefully) a new direction for the plot

This is really old and a small fandom (seaQuest DSV), but the OCs here remain some of my favorites.

The Outriggers series by ATJackson (http://elf_command.tripod.com/at.htm)

Includes two stories, Temporary Duty, and Weakest Link.

It's over the top with h/c tropes but the OCs are characters that I want to read more about. I don't even care about the fandom characters, I just wish there were more Outriggers stories.

Parts I and II are complete, and the author is still working on Part III. It's not totally OC fic, but there are three or four OCs that are rather prominent, and the one is really getting put through the ringer in Part III.

I just a few days ago read a Teen Wolf fic that was Outsider-OC!POV that I enjoyed, but I can't for the life of me find it again. :( I'll come back if I suddenly remember what it was.

I'm in House fandom and nightdog_barks (here and at LJ; her journals are mirrored) writes the best OCs I've seen there, hands down. She has a fic index at nightdog_writes.

Most of her OCs are male, none are love interests; her stories on House and Wilson, gen and slashiness and some slash, too.

Just read a great Bleach fanfiction that features OCs, both from their perspective and as the plot-driving characters pretty much. ByaRen, so who knows if you're into that.

The OC is a modern woman really stuck in Middle Earth and the stories tell us how she deal with all the issues possible (getting lost, no survival skills...). For me it is the best series ever written about an OC.
