Just random prompts I could use as a starting point for some fake news in my fake world.

Mmm, maybe I have a few.

One, about an English man who was drunk and tried to have sex with a snowman. It ended with him going to the hospital with frostbite...

Another, which made the headlines in my area last year, about a mysterious dog which mauled sheep (I think it was more than 50). They had to send in cops with night-vision goggles and still, they saw nothing and it went on for weeks until they could catch the dog(s, it turned out).

There's an ongoing story about a far-left man and his far-left girlfriend, grocers in the countryside, who were accused of vandalism (breaking copper wires on rail roads). He went to prison and was eventually released, but it seems that the evidence was fabricated and they were just convenient suspects.

And a feel-good story: last year, a couple of guys had lost their cat. Turned out, the cat was stuck on the roof and the firemen could not reach the cat. So they asked for help in a newspaper article and readers answered with tips. Two days later there was another article saying their cat was safely home again!
