Physical development of the genitals determines physical maturity, not the amount of hair on it. Saying shaven genitals = pedophilia is grossly immature. There are people who have the genetic trait of having little or no pubic hair.

Some people feel more comfortable shaving, and others are fine with their hair. It's the matter of tastes- neither is gross. Even some cultures practiced shaving. It's no different than trimming one's hair, or shaving legs or beard, whatever. It's still the human body.

This. Thank you. It always rubs me the wrong way whenever someone says that having hairless genitalia makes you look prepubescent. (I'm one of those people with the aforementioned genetic trait of being hairless down there)

Dude I was being sarcastic. That's why I crossed it out and was using the hyperbole and all.

I don't seriously think shaven genitles = pedos

I have a friend who shaved just to see what it was like, and her husband refused to have sex with her until it grew back as it creeped both of them out, he felt weird as they had a daughter, and felt it looked too much like a child. I think it does as well, I hate it.

That's the exact same thing that happened to me with my ex once! I shaved for the hell of it, and he went OH GOD NO EW WHY nd I got no action at all until it grew back in. Fine by me that he didn't like it. I've only ever shaved twice in my life, that time, and another time I was dating someone who had it as a kink--and by that I mean, he wanted to shave me. I let him; he was a good guy and went to medical school so I felt fairly safe.

I'd never do it on a regular basis, though. I like pubic hair, both on me and on other people. I'm keeping it. Don't like it? Fine, you can't have any.
