Cursing, screaming and flailing for me. And then there was the very quiet "ohmygod. Max, I am so so sorry" over the panel showing part of his torture.

That said, if there was ever a comic worth getting obsessed by I think it's this one. So many amazing characters, so many things that seem like throwaway gags but are really Checkov's Energon Rifles. So much craziness and fun and heart-rending moments.

The best couple to come out of the past 10 years of comics, too...

I assume you also read "Last Stand of the Wreckers" by the same author? I loved it SO much I nabbed the Special Edition one despite already owning the paperback. :D

Yeah, I've read it. Max's plight - and the monster in the basement - must be a bit confusing to people who haven't seen it. MTMTE is certainly more accessible, though, which is why I send anyone I can convince to go read it.

Not to mention the fact that Chromedome was having first-person dreams about SKYFALL. :(

I may not have read the one with Skyfall yet. My IDW collection is random and I only read a handful, but I am attempting to catch up on the earlier issues. But hey at least you're proven right: MTMTE is very accessible for someone like me who hasn't read all of the IDW TF comics yet. :D

Skyfall is mentioned in Bullets, the text story at the back of the LSotW hardcover. The one responsible for the bullet in Ironfist's head and who suicided when he realized he was about to be caught for a whole slew of things.

Pfft. This honestly just means I haven't read "Bullets" in a while. XD

It happens. :)

But, yes. He did horrible things in the name of fame, and then chugged horrible poison. And apparently Chromedome was the one to do the autopsy and now dreams about drinking Gideon's Glue. :(

Oh GOD now I am remembering. Damn it, James Robert, you are a brilliant man!
