As far as classics go, I think I read somewhere in the thread that you enjoyed Pride and Prejudice; if that's so, may as well work your way through Austen's books. She didn't write that many, so it wouldn't be a massive undertaking. I think Northanger Abbey is the funniest, but Emma is probably my favorite.

Ah, I recommended Emma further up. It's definitely my second favorite after P&P. I still have Mansfield and Northanger to go.

I love them all. Fanny Price in Mansfield Park kinda gets hated on a little bit by people who perceive her as having little agency, but I love the book. Persuasion is probably my least favorite, but I enjoyed it as well.
