okay I might have been slightly curious about what you know about me(I speak two languages fluently (Norwegian and English) and write English, and two versions of official Norwegian quite well. I read/understand German okay, couldn't write it to save my life though. I can also make myself understood in Norwegian Sign Language. I'm not special in Norway though, most of us learn at least English and German (or Spanish or French) in school, English from 1st gradeish and German (and so on) from 8th grade (or in some cases just from 11 - 12th grade).)

I think you accidentally got into some smoking wank a while back, but I can't remember the specifics. Am I totally off mark?Norwegian, ooo. I've barely even heard Norwegian, that's awesome! I've always thought German had an interesting sound to it, so I envy you that. From what you say I can only guess your schools are a world ahead of ours.

twice I think lately actually, one I knew what I was getting into, the other not so muchYou aren't missing much, Norwegian is an ugly language. German is the best language to give orders in.
Yes our schools are better than yours, but we don't score high enough on the European tests, the Fins have the best schools in Europe if I'm not mistaken.
