I spent a day backing up photos/music/movies/game data/etc and by the end of it never wanted to look at that hard drive again.
Then deleted about 100 gigs off my computer and watched Merlin off the hard drive the next day, so you have a point.
(It amazes me how much these things can hold now.)

I, ahem, haven't finished moving everything from my I-am-not-turning-on-anymore computer to the I-refuse-to-work-properly-half-the-time backup computer yet...
The increase in hard drive capacity is amazing, isn't it? Looks like 4TB externals will be the standard in a few years. (Let me guess, your new drive can hold 3TB of data? :P)
