Yo, I only de-anoned because I decided that I don't really care enough about anonymity to NOT have an account. (also I liked the idea of being one of The Regulars)

The main benefit is that others remember you enough to kind of know already what kind of comments you make. This leads to less awkward sarcasm-misfiring on my part, for sure. And even if you don't PLAN on making friends, peeps will totally remember you after a while and you get to be part of a group, which is awesome.
