Let me see if I can tell a joke you'd find funny based on your pre-established humor.

Man goes to the doctors, and says he has an embarrassing problem...."Doctor" he says, "Every time I break wind, I make a funny noise". The doctor looks at him and says "Well that normal!". So the man decides to shown him. Clenching his teeth, he prepares to let one rip........

"HONDA!!!!!". The doctor looks at him incredulous. "That IS a strange noise"...the doctor then thinks for a few minutes...checks a few of his books, and finally, after thumbing through a really old book, says "You need to see the dentist!"

It's now the mans turn to look incredulous..."OK...I'll try it but I'm not sure that will cure my problem"...

So the man goes to the dentist, and later that week, comes back to the doctor...

"I have to thank you. I'm cured. But how did you know?"

The doctor puts on his best Sherlock Homes style look and says" It's obvious.....An Abscess makes the fart go honda..."

Then you really need to read the comic strip Pearls Before Swine. It has entire Sunday strips that do nothing but build towards a bad pun such as "That's one small Steph for Dan, one giant leaf fr Dan's sign."

And? Just because you don't find it funny doesn't mean you can't tell a joke was being told, and why. I don't like knock knock jokes, that doesn't mean every time someone tells me one I go and check to see who's knocking on the door.
