I think the punchability was pretty deliberate on the part of the actor and the crew :D

Although IMO, the most punchable person on DS9 was the female Changeling. I literally wanted to reach into the screen and liquefy her with my bare fists every time she appeared in the big early season 6 arc.

But the most maddeningly kill-desire inducing character for me has to be Kai Winn. I wanted to enviserate her every single moment of her existence. I saw the actress in something else and recoiled in revulsion for a moment before remembering she is not actually evil.

I met Walter Koenig at a con when I was like ten, and for some reason he decided to hang with my family for like two hours. That was pretty cool. I was pretty young though, so I don't remember it all that well.
