I don't know who she is, but I feel that way about the girl who did Hyperbole And A Half. Aside from just providing some hilarious writing that always cheered me up or made me think, "Oh, it's not just me, then?" she gave the internet (and my friends group) at least one easily-adaptable catch phrase...and the last I heard, she was struggling with severe depression and just didn't want to do anything. I don't care if she ever starts the comic up again, I just hope she's happy and okay.

It might reassure you to read this article.

It dates from a while back, and it does look like she's getting *lots* of help and support from friends and etc. I haven't seen any news from her in more recent months, but it looks like she's going to be ok.
