And why do I continue to say this: People ship what they want, and it is not up to you to judge... Because as far as I know no one force you to ship anything?

Anyway I never shipped Giles with Buffy - Buffy/Spike all the way! I shipped Giles/Anya and Giles/Willow if I remember correctly, in the sense that I didn't care if they where a side pairing in the fanfics I read...

I have no way of knowing what kind of ships where/are popular in Buffy fandom, because I only read fics (Buffy/Spike ones at that, nothing else) and I found those on Buffy fanfiction sites

Giles/Anya really started to grow on me in season six. I blame Tabula Rasa and the fact that Emma Caulfield, while beautiful, did not look like she could pass for early 20s.
