My headcanon for Sally is that her and Sherlock used to be BFFs with a lot of growing UST until something terrible happened and she went from admiring him to hating him. There's definitely history there (she is the only person in Scotland Yard who he knows by her first name. Including Lestrade. :P )

So I'm all for more Sherlock/Sally 'hate/make-up sex' fic. Or any for that matter.

THIS is the headcanon I've been going with since Day One. It's the only way I can tolerate her character.

Everything about her character, mainly in ASIP, just screams 'scorned woman' or something similar. The way she warns John off him, not the way a bully would, but someone who's genuinely worried because she doesn't want John getting hurt the way she was. And that line; "He'll always let you down." SO MUCH SUBTEXT. And yet so little fic.

I hate that this wasn't expanded on and in TRF she just comes off as vindictive and looking for any reason to get at Sherlock even when it doesn't make sense (Why go confront a kid in front of the police that he apparently kidnapped? C'mon, Donovan, you're smarter than this).

I'm probably hoping for more developing in their relationship than I am Sherlock and John. :P

She comes off as vindictive as fuck in the first episode.

And telling John that Sherlock is a murder waiting to happen is really way beyond bullying.
