i'mma use your secret for a tangent, but i need a modern adaptation of persuasion so bad.

Bernie Su said recently that they are planning to do another book after Lizzie Bennet winds down, probably an Austen or Bronte title. I don't know much about Persuasion but I've heard other people requesting it as well (I'm currently reading Emma, which I think would be neat as well, though Clueless did already do the modernization thing pretty well so one of her other books might be better).

NGL, my favorites would be Northanger Abbey or Sense and Sensibility.
NA because Catherine is alreay the Regency version of a fangirl. In 2013 she'd totally have her own horror books and movie blog and she and Isabella would talk about zombies, vampires and such
S&S because, much like with Lizzie and Lydia, we could have two parallel blogs in which the two sisters tell the story from their perspectives. I DO think that Colonel Brandon would be hardest JA love interest to turn into a modern character, tho (how would a 30-something dude who loves a teenager because she reminds him of his dead ex not be seen as majorly creepy now?)
