Well, I never actively decided never to 'ship Ratchet with anybody. I just never shipped anyone but Arcee/Jack Arcee/Cliff, or Arcee/Airachnid (WTF, self?)...until that episode.

OH MY GOD, I have been waiting forever to meet someone else (besides my best friend) who ships Wheeljack/Ratchet. Everybody usually ships Optimus/Ratchet or Bulkhead/Wheeljack (neither pairing I have any issues with, mind you) that this pairing is left in its little corner.

I adore Ratchet/Wheeljack and it's great to meet someone else who enjoys it, too. :D

I was always of the impression that Ratchet/Wheeljack was a fairly popular pairing.

They've both got great brains on their heads, and Primus only knows how often Ratchet has had to put 'Jack back together again. I imagine you form a very close bond with someone the nine-hundredth or so time you reattach their head. :)

Sorry, I should have clarified. I was strictly speaking about the Transformers Prime versions of these two. I haven't finished G1 yet (still about halfway through Season 2), so it's not immediately on my mind, though I totally get why people would ship G1 Ratchet/WJ.

I don't ship them - BUT! ...my yaoi goggles did fell on accidentally while rewatching some second seasons episodes with my room mate, and hoo boy, did my reckoning of these characters get twisted for ever. What a tragedy :'D
So yeah, not shipping, as in "I want fix and rp and just fangirl over them!"-sense I'm all whatever... But whenever they appear in any media (series, fanart, etc), portrayed as innocently (or 'innocently'; edgy battle stances and all that is fine, pron: not ok) as they can be portrayed, it makes me giggle, because it makes me... think.

I can consider them some sort of crack pairing for myself?
