So, what happened to it? Did it die? It never seems to update. How did it die?

I suppose with most fandom activity moving to tumblr, which is pretty hard/annoying to track conversations, made it harder to follow wank? At least, in comparison to Livejournal.

Hm...kinda wish they'd move to Reddit. Seems rather ideal.

I know. But as I said, it barely updates.

Tbqh journalfen disabling new accounts didn't help.

It's not dead, I think their newest entry was about that fandom secret that said husky dogs were stereotyped, or something. The wank from that secret.

I've been hanging around FS since about 2009 and I've seen it end up on FW a few times before.

It's a ghost town because it's still in journalfen. Even goddamn wank report is in journalfen. Like wtf guys, that place is deader than livejournal, move somewhere where there are actual people, not the same ten cursed souls bound to journalfen.

Journalfen is the only place that won't shut fandom secret down. And it keeps the under 18s away. Damn kids on my lawn.

The kids and everyone else. Like, we need more wank variety. WHERE is the glorious fanfic diva wank? We can't revisit insane Supernatural fans forever!

A lot of people moved on. Not everyone has left, but it's been almost a decade and people have changed since then. In the early 2000s you were dealing with people in their early to mid twenties who had time to poke fun at wank and mock people that they didn't know. Ten years later and a lot of members find that wank pointless and realize that the behavior they indulged in was petty.
