Re: Recs for good adventure shows with female main charas
I mean it has fanservice (so if animated boobs bother you a lot you might want to skip it, personally, the few scenes with nudity didn't bother me that much) but I really, really like the characters. Noriko is a great dynamic character, she goes through the typical 80s mecha "whiny teenager turns badass" trope. All of the pilots are women, including the heroine. It's by Gainax (but older Gainax so it doesn't suck) and if you like Norio Wakamoto at all, he does a role in it. Also, it's only six episodes so you could marathon it in one evening if you wanted to.
