If you're mostly aiming for the PS3 exclusives on that console, I also heartily recommend Journey and Demon's Souls, as well as (somewhat less heartily, but it's still worth a rental) Heavy Rain.

Also, if you enjoyed FEAR, the FEAR Files are Xbox exclusive and I am super jelly. You may want to try them.

I might eventually pick up Journey (thanks for the reminder!) but I'll pass on Demon's Souls. I don't mind some difficulty, but Demon's Souls sounds like torture. Heavy Rain I would like to play for the story, but I wouldn't buy it unless it was super cheap. Not sure where people rent games now... (outside a rental service like gamefly)

And I never completed FEAR, so that's why I don't own the others. I did enjoy what I played of it, but I got distracted and never went back.
