I get it. I spent the first 8 years of my life in poverty in what is (used to be?) the richest country in the world. Most of my family is poor* and I feel bad if my aunts or uncles give me money or similar because I know the money should go to something they need.

If you wanna play who's family is worst with me, you should know that if you win I will seriously give you an award and my respect for the rest of your life. (that's what foster kids in Norway do when we meet up, and I am undefeated)

*By Norwegian standards, and that is what counts in Norway.

I'm sorry to hear that. I know there are a lot of people worse off than me, and maybe that's why I get so angry when I hear people complain about silly stuff like not getting money at Christmas from their parents/relatives. Because there are so many people who just have... nothing at all, or people who live in abusive or neglectful, fucked up families who just want their loved ones to appreciate them and love them and spend time with them during holidays. That's the only reason I was really angry and I'm surprised to see it turn into this huge thing where I'm racist against white people
