(Anonymous) 2013-02-01 04:07 am (UTC)(link)I'm not quite as adamant about it, and I don't write as much fic as I used to, but I don't know how much of that is because it used to mimic something I now have, and how much is just me getting older and having more responsibilities and less energy to be a fandomite. We've not entirely abandoned shipping, of course - we're working on an original story with several couples and we love all of them - but yeah, it's quieted down.
OP might get back into it, they might not. It's not uncommon for interests to shift when your life changes, but it's also not uncommon for them to change very little.
