Actually, the same thing sort of happened to me too, ever since I got a boyfriend. I didn't stop shipping altogether, I still have my OTPs and all, but I read way less fanfiction about them than I used to when I was single. Romance fanfic for a ship that I love doesn't satisfy me enough nowadays. I thought I was just weird, but reading all the other comments, it doesn't seem weird at all. I guess fanfic was just "my fix" when I was single, since there wasn't much romance going on in my life.

I still ship couples and watch fanvideos (and go on Tumblr once in a while, because that's where fandom seems to be these days), it's just fanfic that doesn't seem to have the same effect on me that it had before. But maybe I'm reading the wrong fanfic?
