I used to say this about finishing TV shows or running a blog that lots of people followed, etc... I realized it had nothing to do with the fic, or the show, or the followers I had, it was just me finding excuses because I actually didn't want to kill myself. Suicidal thoughts are often more about needing something in your life to change rather than needing it to be over. The fact that you've found something that keeps you "here" means you want to be alive more than you might be ready to admit. Which is okay. You are important and worth enough that you are entitled to want life.
