I write in the POV that the story calls for. If someone refuses to read it because first person fit it better than third, then... that's not my problem, it's theirs. And if they're going to judge it as immediately crappy without actually reading it, again, not my problem.

In fact, my current Thing decided it wanted to be first person when I was 4200 words into writing it in third. So that was fun.
