Actually, I would say you stopped following him because you were annoyed by the questions he chose to answer. He gets thousands of questions, some of them are going to be stupid. He probably chooses to publicly answer >0.1% of them.

It's a pretty small change and I don't see what the big deal is. I had never heard of a ASBO before, but had a pretty good idea what it meant in context. Plus, yea, like you said, google. What you said about accessibility makes sense though, and I don't think it hurts anything. *shrugs*

That said, I don't see the point in being angry at other people for not liking the change. (Especially years later.) It's one line people...

He's not really half-Donna though.

I mean the entire metacrisis thing is a bunch of hand wavey sci-fi nonsense, but like from the context of the episode what metacrisis Doctor got from Donna was 1) a human physiology 2) sometimes copying Donna's speech patterns.

Like I don't think that metacrisis Doctor is going to be vegging on the couch and watching XFactor.

Depends on the show. When I was a kid I had stuff like Rocko's Modern Life, and a majority of the jokes on that show went over my head as a child. Then you have cartoons today like Dan Vs, and whatnot, that are very heavily adult-joke oriented.

I can see you point with shows like MLP:FiM and Fin/Ferb, though.

Contribute in other ways. Cheer on other people's prompts. Leave feedback for active writers. If you feel really bad, try to limit your prompts until you fill one, try to even it out.

I like to read through the posts a bit and make sure nobody's prompted what I'm thinking already. You stumble across a lot of similar ideas, so maybe try to attach yourself to one similar to yours?

It depends on the character development and how well the actor pulls it off. Having a sense of honor that dictates you do certain things, whether or not they benefit you, or just being an empathetic person that doesn't like seeing other people sad or in pain, can both be very believable motivations, if done right.

See, and I tend to love the AUs in this fandom and avoid them in most others. One of my favorite fics in this fandom is a swan queen UA where the curse really is a figment of Henry's imagination. To each their own, I suppose.

Have you just not come across any you like or is there something about the show/characters that you can't picture re-imagined?

Anon, your experience with Hetalia sounds very like my own. When I first watched the anime, I wasn't sure what to expect or if I would even like it. I ended up really enjoying it. Then I promised myself, "Only logical ships, probably with a historic basis." That went out the window.

The point is, as long as you can keep a level head and separate the actual history / real world affairs separate from the manga, you're not going to be one of "those fans." When you start, for example, looking at the Cold War chapter in a history textbook and think to yourself, "Hng, Russia/America feeeeeeels~" (as a Tumblr post worded it) then you have cause for concern.

Until then, enjoy the silliness.
