just honest opinion here...

I was a little shocked to hear that people thought male fans of a girls TV show was inherently sexual deviancy. (if they were just talking about being fans of it in general). This is coming from a young woman who was in a fandom of a cartoon directed at 8 year old boys (which to people around me was a little weird and sometimes got me made fun of but no one ever called me a sexual deviant for it.) Why is it that girls liking a guy thing it's fine but boys liking a thing for little girls gets people freaked out?
