This kind of wank really puts me off Tumblr SJWing.

However many valid points there are about using language to change attitudes and being considerate of people who are different to you, anything good is completely overshadowed by the constant isolation of quotes/phrases from their context to 'prove' a celebrity is racist. Like they get points for it or something.

(And the removal of context is extra-frustrating, because context is the cornerstone of social justice. If you can grasp the notion that someone's life can be different to yours, then surely you can grasp that Martin Freeman called Lucy Liu a 'dog' in a dry, sarcastic, humorous way?)
