Was this the original 'global' version of RO or RO2? Because I have played RO (Was even in Alpha testing for it. X_x), but that was like well over 10 years ago. That was when the game was in beta and they said they were going to release it and... it was not ready to be a sub based MMO. I don't remember the entire game being scrapped and making it from ground up, unless it was the original Korean version. Even returning to it over 10 years later (I think I took a peak at it in 2010 or 2011, I started it around 2001 or even earlier), it's not that much different, gameplay wise. If you have a guide from 2003, it'll be useless since stuff has changed so much (Advanced classes, actual quests, monsters in different areas, new areas), but that doesn't mean the game was scrapped. And yeah, my characters from the original beta are still there.

And yes, the game has pretty music.
