There's a difference between having an opinion about something and being an asshole about your opinion. Frequently people who "judge" others fall into the category of being assholes about it. No one needs to know how some random person thinks less of them for having a different fucking opinion.

It's one thing to say "I don't agree with shipping Draco/Hermione, I don't think they would likely get together in-character". It's another thing to say "I judge you for shipping Draco/Hermione"

Even without getting into the fact that people can come up with extremely flimsy reasons to think less of others in fandom, there aren't many good justifications for airing your dislike where the people you disagree with will hear it ... and either ignore you or be slightly bummed.
