Eh, if you don't like a style don't watch it? Not really a secret. I think Rise of the Guardians is really bland looking and as a result I'm not going to watch it voluntarily* and the highlight of Paranorman for me was the credits. I'm not keen on Burton's stop motion either.

But it's not a big deal if something is visually unappealing to you.
