I think this is more just a case of, people wanting a reason SO MUCH to hate MF that they will believe even the tiniest shred of possibility that he is a horrible person. Who knows why they want to hate him? I mean, I hate Tom Hardy and I don't know anything about him other than he is ugly as fuck and has hideous tattoos that make me want to hate him. Everyone's got someone they hate inexplicably, but it certainly doesn't excuse people denouncing MF the way they do.

This is happening with Benedict Cumberbatch, too. Someone the other day was going on about how rude he is to his fans. I have only heard the opposite, but this person was going on about it like it was a fact.
