I like escapism in my media...stuff that's not grounded entirely in the often depressing real world. If I want the real world to depress me, I'll watch the news, thanks.

Most of what I find that caters to that escapism aspect just so happens to be aimed at young audiences. I often find that those characters and stories engage me much more than Some Boring Legal Drama or Yet Another Vapid Soap Opera. If that's so wrong, then I don't want to ever be right.
