(Anonymous) 2013-02-03 05:49 pm (UTC)(link)For me personally, TV and films are just escapism. If I want to be intellectually stimulated, I read a book or newspaper. If I'm just going to sit around watching something on a screen then I don't want to have to think too hard about it, I like to just enjoy what I'm watching. I find AT (and other kids' shows and films) funny, and I like picking up on details and jokes that would've gone over my head when I was an actual kid. It's just fun, I guess (although I should say I am not active in any fandom, I just like scrolling the tags on Tumblr now and again).
