I can't get into first person fics for most things. It's too weird. If it was a movie or a comic or a tv show, I experienced the original in third person. And usually if it was in a book too.

The exception is Dresden Files. Third person fic feels wrong in Dresden Files.

So I guess, I dunno, since the content of the fic I'm reading is usually going to be pretty far off the reservation, I prefer for the experience and PoV to stay more or less the same?
