It's amusing that the people who jump at any opportunity to call Martin Freeman a bigot, or call Benedict Cumberbatch a privileged twit, are the came people who were conspicuously silent when Lucy Liu said she didn't want to get tanned because she'd "look Mexican".

I wonder why that is.....

It was Filipino, and the reason that people have let that go is because she owned up to her mistake and apologized for it. There WAS a lot of drama over it when it happened, but people ARE generally willing to forgive if someone realizes the mistake they made.
