I just googled it and according to this article http://www.wisegeek.org/what-are-irish-twins.htm the term refers to siblings born to the same mother within 12 month of each other or the same calender year.

That's what I thought I found when I Googled it years ago (back around the time I first saw Runaway Jury and heard it then), but when I tried to Google it last night it didn't show me that...but it did today when I Googled? I don't know. Technology hates me. Thank you for answering my question though. :)
