Oh is that why? I always pull and fold the paper at the same time before I rip it out so the thickness is more or less even. Balling creates little valleys for pee to flow onto my fingers in my experience.

I am specifically thinking of those huge dark-brown, plastic dispensers at public restrooms (the ones with multiple rolls that fall down when the previous roll is empty). When I go in a public bathroom, I want to get the hell out of it as fast as possible, so I quickly try to pull the toilet paper out and it ends up in this half-hearted mess that I just crumple and wipe to get it over with (and I use a lot of TP for this because using 1-ply is the same effect as wiping with your bare hand, IMHO.

I always fold at home because I use 3-ply.

You know you're supposed to stop peeing before you wipe? Therefore there should not be enough pee to flow anywhere.

Okay, look, you're not me and I'm not you so our bodies don't work the same way. When I pee, there are always two to three big fat drops caught on my pubic hairs that soak through crappy toilet paper.
