So my login cookie expired, I tried and failed to guess my password (it has like five different variations I used) instead of just manning up and asking for the reset, and now I'm temp-banned. And then I tried to post in the clickables thread anyway, forgetting that anon accounts on dreamwidth don't do images. (Case, if you see this, please delete that comment.)

Haha, poor you. I feel your pain! Everything except the clickables bit has happened to me too. (I guess the lesson in this is to always reset your password if you can't guess it in two or three tries.)

LOL, I will learn no lesson from this, except for maybe the clickables thing. It wouldn't be so bad if only I'd no idea what my passwords were whatsoever, but I'm always like, "Come on, I know this! I'm only one capital letter/number/special character off!"

Same. I always end up feeling like an idiot and wondering if I'm misspelling or not capitalizing something, and often I'm sure I've typed the right password but NOPE. Damn things.

If you don't mind the fact that it stores your passwords on your computer, you could get LJLogin and never have to worry about that again.
