Those games have god-tier character designs, everyone is so expressive. I actually got interested in the series because I saw people with icons of it way back and I liked the designs. :o

The game-play appealed to me but I won't say the character designs didn't interest me as well (especially Edgey and his fabulous suit). The games ARE very pretty.

It's stupid to be scared by a game like Ace Attorney, but seeing Dahlia makes me think of the final trial where she shows her true personality and she does that creepy ass smile. Still gets to me

while the fandom kind of ruined my ability to take him seriously, I initially found Gant to be probably the creepiest character in the series for me. that Theme music! THAT STARE.

the character designs in those games are awesome. They have a creativity level I've never really seen in anything else.

That's because they're all diminishing returns after the perfect first one.

But the character designs get really ridiculous circa Apollo Justice. imo, Godot was the peak of their skill. I don't like him much but that bitch is one GQMF.
