It is somewhat quiet and I'm only 'new' there (since just before mid-Samurai) but I feel hopeful it'll get more active one day.

I wasn't around back then but everyone there now are very nice.

Yeah, I'm curious now too, I know a few years back a different forum did a April Fool's prank where everything was wiped and they had some issues fixing it but I never heard anything about a PR United April Fool's joke.

Two of the head mods played a prank where it seemed like they were arguing and one of them got mad and changed the password to the site, locking the other out. Then they proceeded to change everything on the site so it looked like it was made by a 10 year old. The site was up and down the whole day.

They finally admitted it was a joke the next day but none of the other mods knew it was a joke and left pretty much right after that.

I was never a part of that site, as most of the forums tend to just be for wank purposes (read: rangerboard), but I can tell just from looking at who the mods currently are (read: mostly bigots in their own happy headspace) that it would be a nightmare for anyone deviating from the norm.

The main thing I use RB for is doing Photoshop art for them, other than that they bitch like all hell. -_-

I hate when bad mods ruin things. Or when they just let the site die and won't let anyone else take over because they don't want to give up their baby - even though they don't even care about fandom anymore. /Rant
