It's been such a long week, and I got a touch of writer's block for a couple of days. I can't wait for the weekend, even if I end up having to visit my grandmother in the country, I'm just really tired of work this week.

I spent 5 and a half hours in a boring meeting today. I mean, I learned a lot but it's about a new program for work and I really just need the practice of playing with the program before I begin to understand what happened.

Otherwise, quite lovely. Started planning my next vacation!

My government is debating the economy. I know that it's really really really fucking important, but I still don't understand a word of what's going on.

There are many numbers and acronyms, and some of them are the reason why nobody I know can get work. But I don't know what any of them mean. (I'm also pretty sure that the government about to rush it through don't understand it either, having been strongarmed into passing legislation.)

I hate knowing I'm too ignorant to understand how I'm being cheated.

Haven't been feeling great these past few days. Sunday I had a bout of dizziness (and general weirdness) and while I've felt better since I still feel a little off now and then.

Ah well, if it keeps up I'll see a doctor.

About to watch the two-parter end of season six of Doctor Who. The thing with River would have been so much more dramatic if it hadn't been given away a season and a half ago... it's still good though.
