Oh yeah.

Comparisons between Enjolras - and Enjolras's relationship with Grantaire - and famous gay Ancient Greeks is totally a thing (Antinous/Hadrian, Aristogeiton/Harmodius, Achilles/Patroclus, Nisus/Euryalus, Alexander/Hephaestion, and Orestes/Pylades).
