Possibly! Sometimes I see the people who graduated later than me, but they still seem bigger and older than I am. I feel like it's still my place to be left behind in the kids' corner.

I think a lot of people feel this way, though. Like, when we see other people, we only see what they project outwards. We don't see their goofy thoughts, their doubts, the fact that they need to stand in front of a mirror for five minutes to pump themselves up before giving that awesome sounding speech.

I see a lot of people and I am so impressed at how together they have it and how adult like they are etc. And then I actually really talk to them and I come to realize they have exactly the same worries and fears as me, and they were actually thinking I was the mature one that had everything together.

It's not quite like that. It's not whether or not I have it together, but the feeling that it's not my place to stand with the people my age. That's as simply as I can think to put it.
