This is a hilarious example of how people can see things differently, because that episode scared me so much I was literally a mental wreck for a couple days afterwards and for months afterwards, I couldn't get a glimpse at a stone statue without my insides instinctively seizing up in panic.

Which is weird, because conceptually, I don't find them all that scary, it's just the way they acted and looked that scared the shit out of me. Disturbing imagery really gets under my skin (I had a similar reaction to the water-possessed people from Waters of Mars). But still, irrational fear or not, I didn't get over them until I finally made myself watch The Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone, and having the Doctor there, figuratively standing between me and them, tricking them into saying "comfy chairs" in order to make Amy feel better, took the irrational edge off my fear.

Then again, I did watch Blink all alone in an empty house in the dark at 2AM...<_<
