(Anonymous) 2013-02-08 06:45 am (UTC)(link)Yeah, I can see your point. Lovely Bones (or whatever it was called, I always think of Dr. McCoy) was especially high on the melodrama. But I'm one of the people too emotionally invested in the LOTR universe to be able to judge the films rationally (plus I've only seen them 1-2 times, so that helps keep them on the pedestal).
