Re: Stupid question about spoilers
I usually only tag things in tumblr. as spoilers for like 48ish hours, but I always tag it with the show so? When it comes to my blogging I just mention early on that I am talking about something current. And when it comes to friends/discussion I usually ask them first if the saw the episode with something that can't spoil them for anything major, like a comment or a hint about something.
I am pretty much one of those people who blame themselves if they manage to get spoilers though, because as someone mentioned in an article I read not long ago: You can't hide from sports results, so why should spoilers for tv-shows be treated any different? Just stay away from the internet until you watch the new episode and you avoid getting spoiled.
that didn't clear it up at all did it? Sorry, I tried...

Re: Stupid question about spoilers
Not saying I haven't gotten annoyed for getting spoiled for things, Supernatural comes to mind, but that is more because people don't know how to tag stuff with the damn fandom. But for shows I am currently watching I just avoid places like tumblr. before I manage to watch the newest episode.
If I got told something spoilery directly to me without a warning it is a different kind of animal and I find it pretty dickish. I never spoil people in real life (or online) on purpose, it is easy to ask someone if they are caught up before asking about a major plot point, I even ask my friends if they are planning to maybe watch a show in the future before I spoil them.
wow that got long, apparently I got a lot of feelings about thisRe: Stupid question about spoilers
